IAPMO Uniform Plumbing Code Certification Mark
Products that are certified by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) comply with the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC®) in North America. The UPC® shield is the premier mark of conformity for plumbing products and represents the highest degree of integrity showing compliance with established codes and standard. Required ADF products proudly bear the UPC® shield.
Required ADF product are in compliance with tNSF/ANSI 372 and the Safe Water Drinking Act (SDWA) lead-free plumbing requirements.
Required ADF products have completed a third-party certification process to ensure they meet U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) criteria and as such, bear the WaterSense label. ADF products that have obtained the WaterSense label have demonstrated both water efficiency and the ability to provide ample flow.
CALGreen, administered by the California Energy Commission (CEC), was established to move the State of California toward sustainable living. It is a state-wide building standards code applied to residential and non-residential buildings. Required ADF products meet CALGreen plumbing fixture requirements, intended for reduced water consumption through changed flow rate levels.
The CEC is the Commission in the State of California for certifying flow rates and water usage in plumbing product. Required ADF product are CEC Compliant.
